We run a genuine Mercedes XENTRY diagnostic system, the same platform main dealers use. This matters most on newer Mercedes vehicles where the service history is held in the car's memory and accessible to future buyers via XENTRY.

Complex fault finding

AMG servicing and performance work

Do you have genuine XENTRY access?

Yes. We run a genuine Mercedes-Benz XENTRY/DAS setup. This gives us full access to every control module in your Mercedes, including guided fault finding, SCN online coding, variant coding and software updates — the same level of access a Mercedes main dealer has.

Can you maintain my Mercedes digital service record?

Yes. Services carried out here are entered into the car's digital service history via XENTRY, against the VIN, exactly the same way a Mercedes main dealer would log it. You receive a printout of the work and the entry is visible in the car's memory.

Will servicing with you affect my Mercedes warranty?

Under the EU Block Exemption rules, you are free to service your car anywhere that uses parts of matching quality and follows the manufacturer's schedule — your warranty remains valid. Slick Autos services Mercedes vehicles to factory ASSYST PLUS intervals using genuine and OEM-grade parts, so the warranty is protected.

Do you work on AMG models?

Yes — AMG makes up a large share of our workload. We service, diagnose, repair and tune AMG vehicles from the entry-level A45 up to the C63, E63, GLE63 and V8 G63. We can also develop custom maps on the rolling road.

Can you diagnose faults other garages couldn't?

Often, yes. Intermittent faults on modern Mercedes vehicles usually need the correct tools and patience. With XENTRY we can see every control module, log live data, and follow Mercedes' own guided fault-finding procedures. Bring the car in for a diagnostic — we'll give you a written report either way.

Do you service older Mercedes models like the W204 and W212?

Yes. We're specialists in the W204 / W212 / W221 era as well as the current generation. These cars are where a good independent really shines — main dealers treat them as legacy, but we still have full XENTRY coverage and the mechanical experience to keep them running properly. Common jobs: balance shaft on the M272, rear airmatic on the W221, valve body repairs on the 722.9 gearbox.

Can you carry out official Mercedes recalls?

Recall work has to go through a Mercedes-Benz main dealer — they're the only entity authorised to close out a recall on the manufacturer's system. If you're not sure whether your car has an open recall we can check it for you at the next service and flag anything outstanding.

What AMG platforms do you tune most?

M139 (A45 S), M177 (C63 S, E63 S, GT), M157 (older E63 / CLS63), M156 (6.2 naturally-aspirated V8) and M278 twin-turbo V8. Each has its own tuning characteristics — the M139 responds exceptionally well to a Stage 1 map, the M177 wakes up properly with Stage 2 and downpipes, and the older M156 benefits from headers and a cam profile rework rather than software alone.
