The questions we hear most.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes — we run on a booked-slot basis so every car gets the time it needs. Turning up without an appointment risks being turned away. Most jobs can be slotted within 2-3 working days of enquiry, faster for urgent diagnostics.
Do you offer courtesy cars?
On some days, yes — we have a small fleet of courtesy cars available on a first-come basis. If you need one, mention it at booking and we'll confirm availability. For longer jobs we can also arrange a local hire car through a partner firm.
Can I wait while my car is worked on?
For short jobs — an oil service, an MOT, a standard diagnostic — yes, we have a waiting area with Wi-Fi and decent coffee. For anything longer than 2 hours we'll usually suggest a drop-off.
Do you charge a diagnostic fee?
Yes — £75 + VAT for a standard diagnostic, which covers a full scan, short road test and written report. If you go ahead with the repair here, the diagnostic fee is waived and rolled into the job. No diagnostic = no guess work, so we don't skip it.
Do you accept finance for larger jobs?
We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. For larger jobs (engine rebuilds, major tuning packages, full servicing commitments) we can arrange 0% finance through a partner provider, subject to status. Ask when you quote.
Where should I park?
Pull into the yard at the front of the workshop. There's designated customer parking just inside the gate. If the gate is closed, press the intercom — a technician will let you in.
